Models of Signal Transduction Pathways

This web site contains several models of signal transduction pathways that have been developed in our group. The models are coded in MATLAB and can be freely downloaded. References and explanations are provided where necessary.

  1. IL-6 Signal Transduction Model
This is the model that was presented in our paper A.K. Singh, A. Jayaraman, and J. Hahn. Modeling Regulatory Mechanisms in IL-6 Signal Transduction in Hepatocytes. Biotechnology & Bioengineering 95, No. 5, pp. 850-862 (2006). The model can be downloaded here. Unfortunately, there were some typesetting errors in the model presented in the paper. A detailed list of the corrections can be found here.

  2. Updated IL-6 Signal Transduction Model
We have made some revisions to the original model and also re-estimated some of the parameters from experimental data generated over the last two years. A description of the updated model can be found here and the model itself can be downloaded here.

  3. TNF-a Signal Transduction Model
This is the model that was presented in our paper Z. Huang, F. Senocak, A. Jayaraman, and J. Hahn. Integrated Modeling and Experimental Approach for Determining Transcription Factor Profiles from Fluorescent Reporter Data. BMC Systems Biology 2:64 (2008). The model can be downloaded here
