A Dialogue with the Council of Chairs

The session aims to highlight the efforts and impact of the Council of Chairs (CoC) in the bioengineering / biomedical engineering field. The session will begin with a brief overview of CoC activities. Next, panelists will give brief (10 min) presentations on critical academic and scientific topics, such as faculty hiring / promotions, school of medicine interactions, bioe / bme educational programs, and “big science” (ARPA-H) programs. After each panelist’s presentation, a dialogue with the audience will be held. A final discussion will end the session.
